Description
The Heartsaver Instructor Essentials Online Course is the self-directed, online portion of the Heartsaver Instructor Essentials blended learning course. It provides instructor candidates with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively teach AHA Heartsaver courses, covering the steps to become an AHA Instructor and the instruction cycle: Prepare, Teach, Test & Remediate, Close, and Keep Current. This course equips candidates to use AHA teaching materials, ensure students meet learning objectives, provide coaching and feedback, evaluate skills performance objectively, and adhere to AHA policies. It combines core content with discipline-specific guidance to prepare candidates for both Instructor-led and blended learning Heartsaver courses.
Delivery Details
Access codes for the course will be emailed within 24 hours for orders placed between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM (Pacific Time), Monday through Friday. Orders placed after 5:00 PM on Friday or over the weekend will be fulfilled the following Monday.
